RoboCup Asia-Pacific(RCAP) CoSpace Logistics Challenge

The RCAP CoSpace Logistics Challenge is an educational robotics event targets the use of robots in work-related scenarios and smart factories for Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary students. It aims to provide a lowcost application tool for students to develop innovative robotics and AI solutions that are needed to further enhance production towards Industry 4.0.

The Concept of RCAP CoSpace Logistics Challenge utilizes ideas and concepts from RoboCup@Work and Festo logistics Challenge for RoboCup Major Leagues, including loading and unloading of objects, picking and storing of various items, delivery of items to/from structured storages, planning and scheduling of production process, and co-operative transportation of goods.

The CoSpace Robot programmes have changed the way Robotics, Computational Thinking and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) are taught to students around the world. In the CoSpace Logistics, students to learn on mobile robot making, robot arm programming, smart factory product planning and making with guidance from RoboCup officials and robotics professionals.

About RoboCup

RoboCup is an international robotic comptition founded in 1997 with the aim of promoting robotics and AI research. The official goal of the RoboCup initiative is that:

By 2050, a team of fully autonomous humanoid robot soccer players shall win the soccer game, complying with the official rule of FIFA against the winner of the most recent World Cup.
